(ATR) The former head of security for the 2006 FIFA World Cup saysthat in the wake of the Nov. 13 Paris attacks, organizers "have to do their homework" before hosting major sport events in France.
"For every match, for every event you have to organize a tailor-made concept," Helmut Spahn tells Around the Rings."You need an ongoing risk assessment."

Latest reports from Paris say over 120 people were killed in what France President Francois Hollande called an "act of war" organized by Islamic State.ISIS claimed responsibility for the attacks on Saturday morning.
The attacks were carried out by eight gunmen and suicide bombers at six locations in Paris on Friday night, including near the Stade de France where the national team were playing Germany in an international friendly.
Spahn, who now serves as the director general of the International Center for Sport Security, was in Berlin at the time of the attacks watching the match taking place between France and Germany.
