(ATR) Isabelle Harvie-Watt has joined the Rome bid team from Havas Group.
In her role as strategic advisor, she will support the 2024 bid committee with all activities related to international relations and communications.
Born and raised in London, Harvie-Watt has worked in Italy for the past 25 years, most recently as global CEO of Havas LuxHub. She was also CEO of Havas Media Group Italy.In total,Harvie-Wattspent five years at Havas Group, the global communications and advertising company.
Prior to that, she held marketing and communications positions in Milan, Italy for Tod’s SpA, Gianni Versace and Giorgio Armani. Harvie-Watt has a Master of Arts degree in History and Italian Literature from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland.
Harvie-Watt will help to improve the bid team’s communications efforts as Rome enters the second phase of the bid race. It's transition to stage 2 is set to be confirmed by the IOC Executive Board next week.

The Italian bid has been without an international communications agency since it split with UK-based Milltown Partners in January.
Rome 2024 is the only one of the four candidate cities vying for the Olympics without a recognized PR company on board.
Budapest recruited M, the London-based marketing and communications company, in March. Jon Tibbs Associates manages PR for Los Angeles, while Mike Lee’s VERO Communications handles Paris 2024.
