(ATR) Olympic weightlifting medalist Ubaldina Valoyes focuses attention on a new online course organized by the Pan American Weightlifting Federation (FPLP).
The Colombian Valoyes reappeared on the international scene as a coach and a London 2012 bronze medalist after the International Olympic Committee awarded her last November following the confirmed doping of the Romanian Roxana Cocos.
Valoyes had originally finished sixth in the 69kg. to obtain her third Olympic diploma, after those obtained in Athens 2004 and Beijing 2008. Then the positive doping of the Belarusian Maryna Shkermankova and her compatriot Dzina Sazanavets were confirmed, which left her in fourth place. She revealed her desire that, with the help of these courses, she could one day join the coaching staff of the national team of her country.
Valoyes is also a candidate for the FPLP Hall of Fame in the near future.
