After a Monday night welcome dinner, delegates will spend the bulk of Tuesday and the entirety of Wednesday touring Games venues.

Presentations on press operations, sport, photo services, accreditation, accommodation, the Olympic News Service, transport, rate card and technology, among other topics, follow Thursday and Friday at the Grand Hotel Krasnaya Polyana.

2019 Asian Games Vote

Around the Rings will be on the scene in Macau for Thursday’s vote on hosting rights to the 2019 Asian Games.

The ballot tops the agenda at the Olympic Council of Asia’s 31st General Assembly.

Surabaya, Indonesia; Dubai, United Arab Emirates; and Hanoi, Vietnam are the three bidders.

Also in Macau, the Executive Board of the Association of National Olympic Committees will meet Friday.

BOA Elections

Sebastian Coe is set to take over the British Olympic Association at Wednesday’s election for the BOA chairmanship.

The double Olympic champion and chair of LOCOG is the lone candidate to succeed Colin Moynihan following Richard Leman’s recent withdrawal.

Sailing Elections

It’s a crowded field for Saturday’s elections of the International Sailing Federation.

Three candidates will stand for president and 14 for vice president at the General Assembly in Dun Laoghaire, Ireland.

Carlo Croce of Italy, David Kellett of Australia and Eric Tulla of Puerto Rico are the nominees to succeed IOC member Goran Petersson of Sweden, president of ISAF since 2004.
