Confederations Cup
Group play comes to a close Sunday at the 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup.
Remaining matches include hosts Brazil vs. Mexico on Wednesday in Fortaleza, Italy vs. Japan on Wednesday in Recife, Spain vs. Tahiti on Thursday in Rio de Janeiro, Nigeria vs. Uruguay on Thursday in Salvador, Italy vs. Brazil on Saturday in Salvador, Japan vs. Mexico on Saturday in Belo Horizonte, Nigeria vs. Spain on Sunday in Fortaleza and Uruguay vs. Tahiti on Sunday in Recife.
Semifinals are scheduled for June 26 and June 27 in Belo Horizonte and Fortaleza with the final to follow June 30 in Rio.

New HQ for FIBA
FIBA moves Tuesday into its new House of Basketball headquarters on the outskirts of Geneva, in the village Mies.
IOC President Jacques Rogge will be in attendance for the occasion.
Med Games, U-20 World Cup for Turkey
Kicking off a busy week in Turkey, the Mediterranean Games open Thursday in Mersin.
Turkey will also host the FIFA U-20 World Cup from Friday.
Olympic Day Celebrations
Bid cities, NOCs, organizing committees and sports enthusiasts worldwide will observe Olympic Day on June 23, the day the IOC was founded in 1894.
The occasion is remembered annually throughout the Olympic Movement with parties, promotions and, most often, fun runs ranging from 5k to a full marathon.
