ATR On the Scene for FINA World Championships

The 15th FINA World Aquatics Championships continue in Barcelona.

Events began on July 19 and will continue through August 4.

ATR will be on the scene in Barcelona for the FINA General Assembly on Friday.

London 2012 One Year Anniversary

This week marks the one-year anniversary for the 2012 London Olympics.

The National Lottery Anniversary Run took place at the Olympic Stadium on Sunday.

"Sacrilege", artist Jeremy Deller’s inflatable version of Stonehenge, is displayed at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park for the one-year anniversary celebrations.

World Youth Day 2013 in Rio

The biggest logistical test for the city of Rio de Janeiro, ahead of the 2016 Olympics, opens on Tuesday.

World Youth Day 2013 will gather young Catholics from all over the world.

The week leading up to World Youth Day is called Mission Week. Approximately 300,000 young people from more than 135 countries took part in Mission Week activities throughout Madrid in preparation for WYD 2011.

The Pope will address WYD 2013 participants on Thursday during a prayer service. The famous Popemobile arrived in Rio on July 15.

The next host diocese will be announced during the closing ceremony on Sunday.

France Hosts IPC World Champs

Lyon, France hosts the International Paralympic Committee World Athletics Championships through Sunday, July 28. An estimated 1,300 athletes from 90 countries continue to compete.

Badminton World Federation

The draw for the 2013 Badminton World Championships will take place in host city Guangzhou, China today.

The Championships will begin August 5 and continue through August 11.

This marks the 20th edition of the tournament, and China's second time hosting the Championships. The 1987 Badminton World Championships were staged in Beijing.

UCI Election

TheUnion Cycliste Internationale (UCI) will hold its presidential election on September 27 in Florence, Italy.

Voters will choose between British Cycling President Brian Cookson and current UCI President Pat McQuaid.
