"An unlikely family": ESPN SportsCenter revisits the story of Paralympian Dartanyon Crockett and his friend, Leroy Sutton, as Crockett won a judo bronze medal at the London Paralympics. Crockett, who is legally blind, befriended Sutton, who has no legs while they competed for their high school's wrestling team.

Russia pledged make the 2014 Sochi Games the safest in Olympic history, but, as the Associated Press reports: "it’s also the biggest target imaginable in a region unsettled by an Islamist insurgency." Last week, Chechen warlord Doku Umarov’s call for militants to disrupt the Olympics.
