Key Marketing and Sponsorship Leaders Featured at IEG Conference -- Conferences and Conventions

(ATR) The world's largest sponsorship and partnership marketing conference is heading to Chicago, USA on Mar. 26.

The IEG conference will be celebrating its 34th year encouraging delegates to "redefine boundaries and discover additional growth".

The conference will be opened by IEG and ESP Properties Senior Vice President Jim Andrewsand followed by panels and presentations covering topics such as partnership sales, strategies, activation and results along with digital content, media, data and engagement.

Speakers include Rush Communications CEO Russel Simmons, Audi America Vice President of Marketing Loren Angelo, 76ers CEO Scott O'Neil and many more.

The conference will also feature networking opportunities such as small-group round table discussions with key industry leaders and special interest groups for delegates to meet and share ideas.

SportAccord Continues Partnership with Macau

The 15th edition of SportAccordwill be welcoming the return of one of the conference's gold partners, the Sports Bureau of Macau SAR Government.

Macau has been a sponsor to the convention for 10 years and will continue into 2017. As a gold partner, Macau intends to promote sport at all levels and "create the necessary conditions for the development of sport" according to Macau presidentPun Weng Kun.

"We are honored to return again as one of the Gold Partners, as we look forward to enhancing Macau’s profile as an active sport city, making contributions to the positive growth and development in the global sport industry and being a significant part of the success of the SportAccord Convention" Kun said in a statement.

The conference will be held in Aarhus, Denmark with more than 1,000 organizations and 92 international sports federations expected to attend.

Plenary sessions held on the first two days of the conference will be featured under a program entitled ‘Innovation in Action’.

Day one of the session will start with a keynote address on organization relevancy and lead to open discussions on building sport support, sports innovations and more.

On day two, Tokyo 2020 will host a presentation on expectations for the next Summer Games. Following the presentation panel discussions will be held on the latest in technology in sport including social media and virtual reality.

Beyond the plenary sessions delegates will also have the opportunity to attend exhibition sessions featuring organizations such as the International Center for Sports Studies and Dubai Sports Council along with numerous workshops.

SportsBusiness Group, SportCal, Yutang Sports, Edmonton Events, EventScotland and the Canadian Sports Tourism Alliance have also all been named as partners of the event.

MEI Hosts Event Production Show Conference

Events industry professionals including BBC journalist Lucy Siegle and CEO and Founder of 'The Fair' Nick Morgan will be taking the stage at the Event Production Show (EPS) Conference this year.

Both intend to cover major topics including business/event sustainability and the evolution of events over two days.

Other speakers includeBright LDN Strategy Director Iain Swan, EventBrite UK & Ireland Marketing Director Marino Fresch and more.

As part of EPS 2017, Event Tech will be held in conjunction with the conference.During Event Tech delegates will have the opportunity todiscus the latest trend in emerging technologies such as virtual and augmented reality as well as the application of these technologies for events of all types.
