(ATR) Organizers expect thousands of visitors to Casa Italia over the next two weeks.
The Italian Olympic Committee's Olympic hospitality house in PyeongChang continues to be the leader among the NOC houses.
A golf clubhouse has been renovated to showcase Italian style and culture, with everything from food to designer furniture shipped in. The stunning furnishings will be left behind once the Games end as a way to leave a legacy.
The house serves as a base of operations for CONI president Giovanni Malago and his team. It also hosts important events, such as a luncheon for the North and South Korean taekwondo teams.
Food and wine, of course, are a big part of the attraction. Celebrity watching is made easier with the likes of gold medalists Lindsey Vonn and Massimiliano Rosolino dropping in for visits.
