(ATR) IOC President Jacques Rogge says Brazil needs to form an ant-doping agency ahead of the 2016 Games, one of the points he addressed in press conference Thursday at IOC headquarters in Lausanne.

Rogge says the “establishment of an independent agency is very important for the future of the Games."

The press conference came at the end of a two meeting of the ruling IOC Executive Board.

In Thursday’s session the IOC okayed venue changes for London 2012 and the addition of new events in cycling and mixed doubles for tennis in London.

A complete report on the press conference and the meeting of the IOC Executive Board, to be filed from Lausanne later today.
