International airliner, Air France, has today pledged its support to the Paris 2024 bid for the Olympic and Paralympic Games and will become the official partner of the bid. It was also announced that a selection of Air France planes will display the Paris 2024 logo on 10,0000 flights during the campaign through to the IOC Host City decision in Lima, Peru, in September 2017.
The entire Air France fleet links Europe and the rest of the world with 320 destinations in 114 countries and during 2015 alone Air France carried 89.6 million passengers. During the campaign, the Air France fleet will display the Paris 2024 logo and on various flights including:
Long-haul Airbus A380 and Boeing 777 flights to Asia, the Americas, Africa and Oceania Medium-haul A320 Airbus flights to Europe, Africa and the Middle EastAir France will also run a marketing campaign to endorse the values and culture of French sport and the bid will be promoted in in-flight magazines and in airport lounges worldwide.
