USATF on Monday announced that Garden of Life, the leader in Certified USDA Organic and Non-GMO Project Verified nutritional products, has joined the USATF family as an Official Sponsor. Extending through 2020, the five-year deal marks Garden of Life's first partnership with a national governing body.

Garden of Life becomes the Official Sponsor of USATF in the protein bar, protein powder, protein shake and probiotic categories. Select Garden of Life products will be available at USATF National Team Training Camps, and also will be included in USATF National Team kits and athlete lounges. USATF members will have access to exclusive discounts as well.

"We are proud to welcome Garden of Life into our partner family and into the national governing body space," USATF CEO Max Siegel said. "Our partnership will help ensure that our athletes have access to healthy, organic protein, especially during the critical time when they travel internationally with our National Teams."

USATF elite athletes will have the opportunity to participate in Garden of Life's Ambassador Program, and select Garden of Life products will be available at USATF national championship events.

"It's an honor for us to partner with USATF, and particularly as they prepare for the world's biggest athletic stage," said Brian Ray, President of Garden of Life. "Their commitment and dedication to the sport complements our mission of empowering extraordinary health, and we're thrilled by this opportunity to fuel some of the world's best athletes for the next five years."

Garden of Life lives by three principles: the science of whole food, clean is healthy, and the importance of traceability. The company's products are Certified USDA Organic and are also vegan, gluten-free and kosher.

The announcement marks USATF's thirteenth new partner and seventeenth partner contract since 2013.
