Le CIO lui a définitivement fermé la porte des Jeux de Paris 2024, mais l’e-sport continue à occuper les travaux et les réflexions du mouvement olympique.
Un groupe de liaison sur l’e-sport et les jeux vidéo a été missionné l’an passé pour plancher sur la question. Il a tenu ses deux premières réunions et présenté un rapport à la session du CIO, en début de mois à Lausanne.
A sa tête, David Lappartient, président de l’Union cycliste internationale (UCI). Le dirigeant français a expliqué à FrancsJeux la stratégie du CIO sur l’e-sport et ses réflexions.
