La résistance s’organise, au Japon, parmi les opposants à la tenue des Jeux de Tokyo. A moins de 80 jours de la cérémonie d’ouverture (J – 77 ce vendredi 7 mai), elle prend une dimension inédite. Elle se révèle désormais plus participative.

Une pétition en ligne a été lancée au Japon pour appeler à l’annulation de l’événement olympique et paralympique. Au cours des premières 24 heures après sa mise en ligne, elle a rassemblé environ 50 000 signatures. Elle a en rapidement totalisé près de 200 000.

La campagne de mobilisation, intitulée « Stop Tokyo Olympics », affichait plus de 187 000 signatures deux jours seulement après son lancement. Elle se rapproche à belle allure de son objectif, établi par ses instigateurs à 200 000 signataires.
