(ATR) Around the Rings' Brian Pinelli was on the scene for the 2017 FIVB Beach Volleyball World Championships.

(ATR) "Vienna's Got Balls" and Around the Rings' Brian Pinelli was there to document it.

Pinelli was on the scene for ATRcovering the International Volleyball Federation Beach Volleyball World Championshps. While there he reported on the 2024/2028 Olympics decision, a Brazilian-like vibe, the outcome of both the men's and women's finals, the federation's quest for tier one status, and of course the ubiquitous marketing slogan.

"We are in a golden era and this golden era is reflected by numbers," FIVB president Ary Graça told ATRin Vienna, before Sunday’s Brazil vs. Austria gold medal match.

"We made a huge investment in the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro – before that in London, we did not think we would have such a success in beach volleyball, but we did."
