MUNICH – November 28, 2016 – Eurosport today confirms that it will be the exclusive home of the Olympic Games in Germany from 2018-2024, beginning with the PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Winter Games. The German channel Eurosport 1 will be at the heart of the action and offer the country every moment of national importance on free-to-air, while superfans will never miss a moment with an all-access pass to every minute of the Olympic Games on all devices, anytime, anywhere.

Locally developed and produced programming will focus on the nation’s heroes and bring to life the stories that matter most to German fans. The biggest moments and German medal contenders will be featured on Eurosport’s free-to-air broadcast, with a focus on the inspirational stories of their national heroes. Fans will see their favorite German experts and follow live Olympic action which benefits from Eurosport’s proven track record of excellence in sports broadcasting.

German households across the country will be guaranteed wide access to the Olympic Games which will exceed free-to-air IOC guidelines and local regulations.
