Dia Olimpico: Ecuador, una Semana Olimpica

En el Patio de Comida del Mall del Sol en Guayaquil se desarrolló este viernes el Concurso de Dibujo y Pintura organizado por la Academia Olímpica Ecuatoriana, como una de las actividades de la Semana Olímpica que realiza el Comité Olimpico Ecuatoriano en conmemoración del aniversario del Movimiento Olímpico Moderno.

La cita contó con la participación de 72 estudiantes de 17 unidades educativas de Guayaquil quienes pusieron a prueba su creatividad para plasmar los valores y el deporte en estupendos trabajos artísticos. El lema para el concurso de este año fue "Respeto, amistad y excelencia’, valores que impulsa el Movimiento Olímpico.

Los ganadores se llevaron premios de los auspiciantes Hotel Sonesta y Laboratorio Seres Farmacéuticos. También recibieron mención de honor otros dos trabajos por cada categoría.

Para este sábado 22, continuando con las celebraciones por el Olympic Day, la Comisión Deporte y Medio Ambiente está al frente de la iniciativa ‘Limpieza del Estero’, la cual se desarrolla en el Malecón del Salado, en La Plaza de la Salud y Ambiente desde las 10:30.

Las familias que se den cita a este evento además podrán admirar las exhibiciones deportivas de tenis de mesa, bádminton, remo y apnea.

La Semana Olímpica se cierra este domingo 23 con la celebración del Olympic Day con una caminata en el Parque Samanes, detrás de las oficinas administrativas de Inmobiliar. La cita se desarrollará desde las 07:30 y se cubrirá un recorrido de tres kilómetros. Participarán escuelas, colegios y público en general.
