(ATR) Brian Lewis leads the Trinidad and Tobago National Olympic Committee and is one of the influential sport leaders in the Americas.
He is a member of the leadership of continental association Pan Am Sports and is president of the Caribbean Association of National Olympic Committees.
He says even in his nation of 1.2 million, the specter of corona virus is looming. The country is in lockdown he says and that includes the dozen and a half athletes who were making plans to compete this July at the Tokyo Olympics.
Lewis spoke by phone from his home in Port of Spain with ATR Editor Ed Hula in this conversation recorded March 31.
