(ATR)Delegations from Almaty, Kazakhstan and Beijing, China set up exhibitions this week in Lausanne for members of the IOC and media.
IOC members toured two rooms at the Lausanne palace hotel on Wednesday, the bids showcasing their merits with interactive demos, display videos and models.
Visuals of Almaty's compact bid were on display as Kazakh Olympic figure skater Denis Ten spoke to IOC members and media.

Beijing 2022 offered IOC members a virtual ride on the proposed new high speed railway linking Beijing and Zhangjiakou. Detailed models depicted the bid's three venue clusters.

Thursday marks the fourth day of the so-called technical briefing for IOC members on the 2022 candidate cities.
The briefing gives Almaty 2022 and Beijing 2022 a chance to explain how they plan to stage the Games, as well as for IOC members to ask questions to the candidates.
In less than two months, the IOC will select a host city for the 2022 Games in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on July 31.
