(ATR) Almaty 2022 took to social media in order to keep it real.

The bid committee launched @RealAlmaty2022, the official Twitter account of the Almaty 2022 campaign, on Feb. 6.

Although the page is currently light on information regarding the bid, organizers promise that @RealAlmaty2022 will "keep it real" in the months leading up to a decision on the 2022 Olympic Games.

Almaty is in contention with Beijing to host the 2022 Games.

IOC inspectors will visit the Kazakh city Feb. 14-18 to review Almaty’s bid concept. They will then evaluate Beijing 2022’s bid on a March 24-28 visit to the 2008 Summer Olympic city.

Hosting rights will be awarded to one of the cities at the IOC Session this summer in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
