(ATR) IAAF president Lamine Diack is among the sports leaders from across Africa who will share their life experience at the ninth annual edition of CISA, the Africa International Sports Convention.

The convention is scheduled for March 11 to 15 in Kigali, Rwanda.

"Celebrating Great Figures Africa Sport" is the theme of this year’s convention with a lineup of speakers who have played major roles in international sport.

IOC member Sam Ramsamy of South Africa, FIFA VP Issa Hayatou of Cameroon and former FINA president Mustapha Larfaoui from Algeria join Diack in a series of presentations reflecting on their careers.

The other major theme of the convention – – likely to generate lively debate – – is the question of the future of the African Games. The day-long program on day two of the convention will open with remarks from the sports minister from Congo, director of the organizing committee for the 2015 games scheduled in September for Brazzaville.

Registration is open for CISA with more information available at the official website.
