La perspective des premiers vaccins aux Etats-Unis, et accessoirement le redéploiement des anneaux olympiques dans la baie de Tokyo, n’y changent rien. Au Japon, les Jeux de Tokyo peinent à retrouver leur cote d’amour parmi la population.

A 220 jours de l’ouverture, ce mardi 15 décembre, la chaîne de télévision NHK révèle les résultats d’un sondage d’opinion réalisé par téléphone au cours du dernier week-end. Ses chiffres en disent long sur la défiance des Japonais à l’égard des prochains Jeux olympiques et paralympiques.

Plus de 30 % des 1 200 personnes interrogées (32 %) ont déclaré que les Jeux de Tokyo l’an prochain devraient être purement et simplement annulés.
