(ATR)Amid ongoing investigations by both the United States and Switzerland, disgraced former CONCACAF president Jack Warnersays he plans to release evidence related to the dealings of FIFA and Sepp Blatter.

"I will no longer keep secrets for those persons who now seem to seek to destroy this country's image," the 72-year-old said in a public TV address on Wednesday.

Warner's address comes on the heels offormer FIFA ExCo member Chuck Blazer's admission that he and others on the ruling body took bribes in conjunction with the awarding of 2010 World Cup.

The FBI has confirmed it is now investigating the Russia and Qatar bidding scandal.

Last week, prior to the 65th FIFA Congress, the U.S. Department of Justice charged14 FIFA and sports marketing officials with a total of 47 counts of racketeering, wire fraud and money laundering.

Just four days after being re-elected for a fifth term as FIFA president, Sepp Blatter shockingly announced his resignation during a surprise press conference.

The 79-year-old said that FIFA will call an extraordinary congress "at the earliest opportunity" to elect a new president.
