Next Wednesday 11 at 8 a.m. (Peru time) will start the Youth World Cup. There is only one week left for the competition to show the progress of the young prospects in this sport. The Peruvian Weightlifting Federation, organizer of the competition, has installed a scenography in La Videna de San Luis that will provide the visual unity of the contest throughout the competition and broadcast. As it is recalled, the International Weightlifting Federation (IWF) and the Peruvian Sports Institute (IPD) have also contributed decisively to the realization of this World Cup. The renowned television network ESPN will take the signal to the international scope. Millions of fans will be able to follow the incidents of this competition from the comfort of their televisions, cell phones or tablets. The general transmission will be carried out on the Zoom platform, but the master control will receive signals from other platforms that will be incorporated thanks to the appropriate software. The synchronization has been rigorous because the signal that leaves Peru will reach Madrid (Spain) where the editing work will be carried out in real time. In the Spanish capital there will be a control with a filmmaker, two producers, replay operators, a technician, a sound engineer and a graphics operator. There they will work on content such as titles for images, video clips, interviews. At the end of each category, the highlights will be seen, as well as the virtual delivery of medals. According to the contest schedule, the schedule by categories must be completed today and the final list of participants by bodyweight must be published. On Saturday 7 there will be an information session for coaches and athletes.
