World Rugby has announced London-based agencies RDA TV and IEC in Sports as its official worldwide television sales arm for sevens and the U20 Championship.
The media rights distribution companies will partner to sell broadcast rights to the Sevens World Series, the Women’s Sevens Series and the U20 Championship for a two-year term.
RDA TV is a media rights distribution firm based in London.
IEC has worked successfully in partnership with RDA on a range of rugby projects, such as the World Club Sevens 2014 and USA Rugby’s 2014 series, including the historic visit of New Zealand to Soldier Field in Chicago to take on USA last November. IEC’s rugby clients include the Asian Five Nations, Asian Sevens series, Japan TOP League and Japan national team.
