(ATR) The president of World Bowling tells Around the Rings that the federation is looking to the future with optimism and excitement.
World Bowling, the sport’s international governing body, launched a new website and social media platforms on Friday with an aim to encourage interaction between members of the bowling community worldwide.
According to Kevin Dornberger, the president of World Bowling, the new website marks the federation’s move into the 21st century.
"For years, we had logos designed 50 years ago, names designed 70 years ago, and several different bowling organizations that were kind of related, but not really on the same page," Dornberger told Around the Rings on Friday.
"It became apparent that it was past time to move forward in bring the bowling entities together and getting us all moving in the same direction with a name and a logo."
The new World Bowling website can be found here.
