(ATR)Architects, consultants, contractors, and companies will convene in Doha, Qatar next year for the World Stadium Congress.

The 2017 edition of the event will be the largest gathering of stakeholders involved in the stadia and arena industry. The three day congress features workshops and panels on discussions including new innovations in stadium technology, venue sustainability and more.

The World Stadium Congress awards will be held during the congress on May 9. Architect of the year, Stadium Design of the year and 38 more awards will be recognized at the event.

Major topic, 'Stadium Saftey and Security Workshop,' will be held the entire day on May 11, concluding the congress.

Project Director of Euro 2020 Dimitri Huygen andDirector of Operations for the European Safety and Safety Management Association Jan Stryckers are some of the confirmed speakers for the workshop.

ISC Chief Executive Gains New Title

Nigel Fletcher has been recently appointed as Vice-Chairman of the Lake Geneva Sports Commission.

Fletcher is the founder and Managing Director of the network and events company Sports Development Marketing (SDM).

SDM owns and fully manages the International Sports Chamber of Commerce as well as theInternational Sports Convention.

The last convention was held on Dec. 7-8, 2016 in Geneva, Switzerland where Fletcher acted as Chief Executive.Delegates from over 80 countries and more than 150 speakers were in attendance.

TSE Consulting hosts "The Academy" conference

TSE Consulting has opened the registration for "The Academy "conference. The 2017 edition of this program will take place at the Olympic Museum in the Olympic capital- Lausanne, Switzerland from June 7-8.

Participants will have the opportunity to enjoy speaker presentations, master classes with key leaders in sport as well as workshops, Q&A’s and more. Speakers of the conference willbe announced soon.

"The Academy" plans to provide insight on ways sport organizations can gain potential revenue sources, discuss new forms of promotion and ways to spread influence to othersthrough three main themes- Revenue, Promotion and Influence.

TSE Consulting will also host a cocktail party at the Movenpick Hotel to open the program along with a Gala Dinner at the Chateau d’Ouchy.

The three-day conference held in Toronto, Canada intends to bring 300 of the world's leading sports scientists to discuss topics under the theme "Opportunities and Challenges in Paralympic Sport Science and Sport Medicine Support."The 2017 VISTA Conference will be held from Sep. 20-23.

"VISTA 2017 will see the conference return to its roots with Canada having hosted the first edition in 1993," Peter Van de Vliet, IPC Medical and Scientific Director, said in a statement."Since then the conference has continued to grow in size and scale and is now the world’s leading conference for sports scientists and researchers to discuss and debate key issues relating to the growth of the Paralympic Movement." .
