Tokio Inkarami (by IFing), new sponsor of the FIG

The International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) and the Japanese sports marketing & government consulting group CB, Ltd. have entered into a one-year partnership agreement for the year 2019.

Under this agreement, Tokio Inkarami, the brand of professional hair cosmetics owned by IFing Co., Ltd, and represented by CB, Ltd. becomes an official sponsor of the FIG as well as the 2019 World Championships in Artistic Gymnastics, Rhythmic Gymnastics and Trampoline Gymnastics and the three Parkour World Cup events.

FIG President Morinari Watanabe and IFing President and CEO Masanao Fuyuhiro came together for a signing ceremony held at IFing’s headquarters in Tokyo on 23 April, to mark this new sponsorship.

"We are delighted to have Tokio Inkarami among our partners for the World Championships in our Olympic disciplines this year but also for the events of Parkour, which is part of the new appealing urban sports trend," said President Watanabe.

Mr Fuyuhiro stressed the significance of this agreement for IFing Co., Ltd.: "In this fantastic atmosphere in the lead-up to Tokyo 2020, it is of great significance for us to play a major part in supporting a sport that is typified by such a high degree of artistic creativity, beauty, and history. Tokio Inkarami is proud to become an official sponsor of the FIG, a body which represents the most established of sports while also holding a vision of a future with little boundaries, always exploring and promoting the new."
