(ATR)Alibaba Cloud, the official cloud service provider of Paris 2024 launches "Le Club Paris 2024" initiative to support the Games.

"We are pleased to work with Alibaba Cloud on this mission, and by leveraging its cloud computing and digital transformation expertise, we can give everyone a unique experience as part of their own Paris 2024 journey," said Paris 2024 Engagement Director Romain Lachens.

In "Le Club Paris 2024", members will have a chance to participate in challenges, meet Olympic and Paralympic champions, and participate in other sports and "cultural" challenges.

"Together with Paris 2024, we are confident that Olympic fans will be able to experience the excitement of the Games, and spread the spirit of the Games to both online and offline communities,"said Selina Yuan, President of International Business, Alibaba Cloud Intelligence.

Alibaba Cloud has been a World Olympic Partner since PyeongChang 2018, we have continued to work alongside the IOC and other local organizing committees to "create more inclusive and next-generation Olympics." Alibaba is "confident" that their technology and innovations can lead the Olympic Games in the future.

IOC also just launched the opening of the Tokyo 2020 portal in Alibaba's Tmall.

With about a year to go before the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, this portal will feature the latest news, photos and announcements about the upcoming Games, while attempting to connect more with a younger demographic.

"Launching a new Tokyo 2020 destination for Chinese fans on Tmall helps us leverage the platform's huge user base and technology to engage sports fans in China in a way they are used to consume content and improve our Olympic value offerings in particular in relation to the Games on an ongoing basis." saidChristian Voigt, Vice President of Marketing Development at the IOC Television & Marketing Services.

World Curling, iX.co Extends Partnership

The World Curling Federation (WCF) and iX.co will stay together until the Summer of 2022.

iX.co, the digital side of InFront Sports and Media, will continue to work on the federation’s growing Sina Weibo channel to bring content to their Chinese audience.

"The growth of our Sina Weibo channel in its first year was incredible and we look forward to seeing what we can achieve together in the lead up to the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games Beijing 2022," said World Curling Federation President, Kate Caithness.

The extension will see iX.co's content creation team attending the Beijing 2022 test events — the World Junior Curling Championships 2021, and World Wheelchair Curling Championship in 2021.

Ippon Gear partners with IJF to fight Covid-19

Ippon Gear has partnered with the International Judo Federation to fight against Covid-19. Ippon Gear has launched a collection of Mouth and Nose Masks, and will donate one mask for each mask sold to countries in need with IJF development programs.

Ippon Gear will also support another IJF initiative, Masks for Africa, offering 1,000 euros to donation collections. Approximately $25,000 was raised, and the donations made it possible to create and distribute a total of 1,000 masks in Africa.

United World Wrestling Partners With Nike

United Wrestling has partnered with Nike Wrestling for the "We Will Wrestle Again" campaign.

The campaign will raise money by tee shirt sales in order to provide financial assistance for wrestling organizations impacted by Covid-19.

The tee shirts are available for purchase on the United World Wrestling online store uwwstore.com

"We are facing unprecedented times and the strength of our future will depend on our ability to come together in support of our community members around the world – from athletes to national federations. We must remember that we will wrestle again."said United World Wrestling president Nenad Lalovic.

Funds from the campaign will also go into a scholarship fund, managed by the Development Department, providing financial aid to athletes with aspirations of competing internationally.

Since 2017 Nike Wrestling has been a global sponsor for UWW, and supplied equipment to disadvantaged wrestling communities worldwide.
