Football legend Louis Saha, former French national team and Manchester United striker is SIGA’s
latest Champion.
Along with his impressive playing credentials on the pitch, Louis Saha is using his athlete
experience to positively transform the sports industry and ensure that athletes are advised off pitch
in a more transparent and credible manner. To achieve this, Louis recently founded AxisStars, a
private community for professional athletes & entertainers. AxisStars empowers its members to
inform and equip themselves throughout their first career and beyond, by accessing verified
information, connecting with each other and collaborating with vetted businesses.
Together with Louis joining the SIGA Champions team, AxisStars is the latest organisation to
express public support to SIGA’s reform agenda. As part of the partnership, SIGA’s COO Katie
Simmonds will sit on the AxisStars Admissions and Ethics Committee and AxisStars’ COO Kate
Hamer will be a Mentor in the SIGA Global Mentorship Programme on female leadership in sport.
Emanuel Macedo de Medeiros, Global CEO of SIGA and Chairman & CEO of SIGA AMERICA,
stated:
"We are delighted to welcome Louis Saha in our SIGA Champions Team, and AxisStars as
our newest Committed Supporter. Athletes such as Louis, have a pivotal role to play in
changing mentalities and instigating long-overdue reforms. We look forward to working with
him to do exactly this."
Louis Saha, Football Legend, former French national Team and Manchester United Footballer,
FIFA 2006 World Cup Runner Up, Founder, AxisStars & newly appointed SIGA Champion,
commented:
