(ATR) The Buenos Aires 2018 Organizing Committee has signed a sponsor agreement with Sport clothing company JOMA to produce uniforms for the third summer edition of the Youth Olympic Games.
JOMA will make around 15,000 special outfits for personnel, volunteers and technical officials for the YOG that will take place in the Argentine capital in October.
"Our uniforms will be inspired from the colors of our visual identity and will demonstrate the energy of the Buenos Aires 2018 team", said the general director of the Buenos Aires 2018 Organising Committee, Leandro Larrosa in a statement.
The Buenos Aires 2018 uniform will be composed of a hat, polo shirt, pants (that can be made into shorts), sweatshirt, rain jacket with hood, a backpack made with eco-friendly cloth, and a rain poncho.
The agreement includes the creation of a special piece of clothing for the torch bearers during the Youth Olympic Flame relay that will take place between August and September.
In total the company will manufacture 100,000 items.
The agreement allows JOMA to become a Buenos Aires 2018 bronze category sponsor.
