FIRST ‘REGIONAL SPORTACCORD’ PAN AMERICA DECLARES REGISTRATION OPEN TODAY

LAUSANNE, Switzerland – Fort Lauderdale will become centre-stage when the ‘Regional SportAccord’ opens its doors for the first time at its inaugural event and gathering for the Pan America region from 10 – 12 December 2019.

A first regional event for SportAccord, it is also the first with a particular focus on the Pan American region, as the only networking and conference event to bring the Pan American, and the Olympic and non-Olympic community together in one location.

The Regional SportAccord Pan America 2019 will take place at the Fort Lauderdale Convention Center, a venue much-loved by event planners and attendees alike, for its exceptional service, flexibility and location - when it comes to hosting and attending events.

To this end, SportAccord is delighted to confirm registration opened today for Regional SportAccord Pan America 2019 and invites regional decision-makers and international sporting leaders involved in the business of sport to take part.

Commenting on the inaugural Regional SportAccord taking place in Fort Lauderdale, Nis Hatt, Managing Director of SportAccord said:

"The purpose and value of the event lies in giving international sports federations the opportunity to exchange views and ideas with sport entities and businesses in the Pan American region supported by continental unions and national federations.

"Regional SportAccord is the perfect platform for enabling this to happen in a constructive and beneficial way for the region and across the sports movement and we look forward to welcoming the sports community to Fort Lauderdale."

To take advantage of the opportunity to spend 3 days networking with key stakeholders from the Olympic and non-Olympic sports movement, organisations can now register as attendees.

Stacy Ritter, President and CEO, Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention & Visitors Bureau said:

"It is a privilege and honor to be the host destination of the inaugural Regional SportAccord Pan America conference to be held on the sunny shores of Greater Fort Lauderdale.

"It is an invaluable opportunity to provide an educational platform for the Americas continent with a business, professional, governmental and altruistic interest in how Olympic and non-Olympic sports function at the international level; while providing marketing opportunities to the future growth of sports in the Americas."

The 3-day Regional SportAccord event in collaboration with Greater Fort Lauderdale, Florida Sports Foundation, International Sports & Health Associates, and MGO, expects to receive 500 attendees from around 400 organisations. These include 40+ international and regional sports federations, 30+ cities and regions, ministries and governing sports bodies, rights holders, subject matter experts, media, and industry leaders – to name a few.

The official event programme will provide numerous networking opportunities for attendees – all of whom are represented at the highest levels.

With myriad networking opportunities in play, Regional SportAccord Pan America will host an exhibition offering a limited number of booth opportunities. The premise: to facilitate and help organisations achieve strong brand visibility and better levels of attendee interaction, to meet their objectives.

Commercial partnerships are also on offer and will be available in limited numbers too. Again, this ensures high concentrations of brand awareness and accessibility are achieved. Partner categories include Diamond (already taken), Gold (3), Silver (4) and Bronze (5), supported by inspirational category ‘Rights & Benefits’ outlined in the Sales Brochure.

Sponsorship and advertising opportunities are also available for organisations looking to enhance their visibility before, during and after the event. These opportunities include the mobile event app and event publications, all seen by a bulls-eye audience.
