While the numbers of infected and deceased people from Covid-19 begin to slowly decline throughout the continent, many countries are beginning to end self-isolation and quarantine protocols that have been in place for more than 100 days.
This is a moment long awaited by many people, especially high-performance athletes and coaches who have looked forward to being able to return to their normal routines of training and competing as they begin to plan for next year’s events, highlighted by the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
