England's 21 year old Darius Knight, a candidate to represent Great Britain at the forthcoming 2012 London Olympic Games is featured in the production "Move to the Beat" a global campaign run by Coca-Cola.
The global activation of the campaign elements will run across multiple platforms, including text messaging, mobile web and apps. Limited edition packaging promoting the campaign will also be rolled out.
Darius is one of five athlete ambassadors who have been selected to front the campaign; each athlete has provided sounds for Ronson to use.
The campaign will also include a global TV advert featuring music producer Mark Ronson, and will aim to bring teens closer to the event and to sport by harnessing their passion for music.
Sanjay Guha, Marketing and Olympics Director, Coca-Cola Northwest Europe and Nordics, said:
"We are thrilled that Move to the Beat will give millions of young people in Great Britain the opportunity to get closer to the magic of London 2012 through the fusion of music and sport. We hope that Move to the Beat will inspire young people to move to the beat of London and join us in the biggest celebration of the Olympic Games in our 84 year partnership."
Alongside the TV advert, Ronson has developed an anthem featuring Katy B which includes the sound of Olympic sports, for which Ronson travelled the world seeking inspiration through meeting young athletes and recording their sounds.
The creation of the song will feature in a documentary, ahead of its release as a single, and will also be featured in the TV commercial, as well as on mobile and digital platforms and at Coca-Cola events.
The campaign will also work with organisations such as StreetGames and Rockcorps to encourage active participation in sport and charitable activities.
The others athlete are 29 year old David Oliver a 110 metre hurdler from the United States; Kseniya Vdovina, 24 year old, a 400 metre sprinter from Russia; Dayyan Jaffar, a 17 years old archer from Singapore and Maria Espinoza, who is 23 years old and in a taekwondo athlete from Mexico.
Kaley Cuoco loves table tennis
Kaley Cuoco was a nationally ranked amateur tennis player player, a hobby she took up when she was three years old until she switched to acting full time with 8 Simple Rules in 2002.
Cuoco has now switched to a much more backstage friendly sport playing table tennis on the set of The Big Bang Theory everyday with her cast members, at Oscars parties, and even on morning news interviews. She once gave Ellen Degeneres a table tennis racket signed by the whole Big Bang Theory cast on one visit to her show. The world is once again turning to table tennis as a sport of choice!
