Lausanne, Switzerland – 7 February 2018 -- Ahead of the next FINA World Championships, slated for July 12th to August 11th, 2019 in Gwangju, South Korea, the Gwangju 2019 Organizing Committee for 18th FINA World Championships has appointed Burson-Marsteller Sport as its official international communications and public relations agency.
To build the momentum in the lead up the event, Burson-Marsteller Sport will provide advice on
strategic communication including support with international media outreach, social and digital media
and traditional media relations to the Gwangju 2019 team on its international communications and
public relations strategy – helping to best promote the FINA World Championships globally.
Dr. Cho Young-Teck, General Secretary & Vice-President of the Gwangju 2019 Organizing Committee
of the 18th FINA World Championships said, "The FINA World Championships is one of the largest
