(ATR) The new tennis venue for the Boston 2024 Olympic Bid will be located in the Dorchester neighborhood of Boston.

Sportsmen’s Tennis and Enrichment Center, the first African-American tennis club in the United States, would host the men’s and women’s tennis tournaments if Boston were to win the 2024 Olympics.

According to a release from Boston 2024, the group worked with" community groups, elected officials and other key stakeholders" when determining the tennis venue.

The tennis center will house two temporary stadiums with a 10,000- and 7,500-seat capacity. After the Games, a 2,500-seat capacity tennis stadium would remain. The construction time before the Games will take around 4-8 months with an 8-week breakdown after the Games.

"Sportsmen’s is already renowned as a treasured Dorchester institution," Richard Davey, Boston 2024 chief executive, said in a statement.

"We are so fortunate to partner with this team to shine a global spotlight on their great work and collectively act on our vision to host the Games in 2024."

The tennis center is the second venue to be announced by Boston 2024 in their revised bid plan. On Jun. 4, the bid revealed that sailing for the Games would take place in New Bedford, Massachusettsaround 49 miles south of Boston.

The full revised bid plan is expected to be released by the end of the month.
