Skeleton athlete Janine Flock undefeated at the World Cup in Sigulda

Elena Nikitina second, Kimberley Bos and World Champion Hermann tie for third

Sigulda (RWH) Skeleton athlete Janine Flock from Austria remains undefeated at the BMW

IBSF World Cup in Sigulda. At the second race of the season on the track in Latvia in winter

2020/2021 the overall World Cup runner-up of last season set track record times in both heats.

The overall World Cup winner of 2016 improved her own record from the previous week to

51.46 seconds.

European Champion Elena Nikitina from Russia, who won her second European

Championship title in Sigulda in February 2020, finished second with a gap of 0.65 seconds.

World Champion Tina Hermann (GER) and Dutch athlete Kimberley Bos (both 0.80 seconds

behind) tied for third place.

World Cup title holder Jacqueline Lölling (GER) came in seventh, following an eighth place

finish at the World Cup opener in Sigulda.

Ashley Pittaway from Great Britain finished eighth. So the 2016 Youth Olympic Champion

achieved her best World Cup result so far in Sigulda.
