TwentyTen Group (TTG) announced today it is reinforcing its team in response to a thriving and growing client base. The sponsorship marketing and sales firm has made moves to align its sales teams under a newly refined leadership group with Bill Cooper being tapped to lead TTG Partnerships as Managing Director.
Cooper has been with TTG and the TwentyTen Corporation since inception, and has been key to the growth of the firm’s client base, geographic expansion, service offerings and proprietary events.
Continuing to work alongside Founder & Managing Partner, Andrea J. Shaw, Cooper will formally take the helm of TTG bringing enhanced focus and his exceptional depth of experience in sales, negotiation and the creative chops required to bring strategic marketing partnerships to life.
Additionally, at the Director level, TTG has welcomed seasoned sales and marketing expert Jana Madill, former consumer packaged goods brand executive, to lead the sales and service teams for the firm.
TTG’s client roster has undergone significant growth over the past six months on boarding the likes of Athletics Canada, Canada Basketball, The Great Trail (Trans Canada Trail) and Freestyle Canada – all properties garnering significant attention of late thanks to the Rio 2016 Games and Canada’s upcoming 150th anniversary. This growth, paired with the unparalleled success of the annual HSBC Canada Sevens annual event and festival has set the firm on a new trajectory spanning amateur sport, marquee events, and cultural properties.
"Recognizing the increase in demand for exceptional client service and emphasized focus on sales success, there is no better person to lead us into this exciting phase of growth than Bill Cooper," said Andrea J. Shaw, Founder & Managing Partner. "Bill’s ability to build opportunity and find creative solutions to partnership needs is world-leading. His ability to hold our team to the highest standard and get exceptional results made this move a natural choice."
Cooper is coming off an exceptional year, having led the inaugural HSBC Canada Sevens event in Vancouver which is now touted as a cornerstone event on the city’s entertainment calendar after hosting over 60,000 fans over the course of the two-day festival.
"TTG has earned over six years of exceptional success in the marketplace, and I am more proud than ever to expand my role to include the responsibilities of Managing Director of TTG," added Cooper. "We are so proud and excited to make these announcements in response to our growing family – of both clients and staff. Delivering exceptional results for all of our sponsorship property clients is our top priority, and the addition of Jana Madill to help lead our team brings the boost in our creativity, market knowledge, integrity and connectivity we need to take our results to the next level. In this business, we are compelled to continually evolve to meet the rising tide, and this new team is the best mix of talent and vigour to deliver."
Jana Madill, a Vancouver native, has over 20 years of history working in sponsorship on all sides of the business for agencies, properties and brands to deliver mutually beneficial partnerships and drive return on investment. Her experience includes working with and for brands like Molson Coors, Coca-Cola, Seventh Generation, Telus, Cirque du Soleil, the PNE and more. Known as a mentor, coach and results-driven team member, Jana has hit the ground running leading TTG’s sales and service teams.
"Our clients are making waves – with a huge medal haul in Rio and initiatives that will garner a lot of attention over the next few years, particularly with Canada’s 150th celebration around the corner," added Andrea Shaw. "We are so proud to welcome these new clients and absolute star leaders in Bill and Jana to our TTG family. We have our sights set high and continue to work every day to elevate the potential of sport, culture and community here in Canada."
