The ITF announced today that Adecco has signed a three-year extension as an international sponsor and Official HR partner of the ITF’s two team competitions, Davis Cup by BNP Paribas and Fed Cup by BNP Paribas. This agreement commences with this weekend’s Davis Cup World Group semifinals and play-offs on 18-20 September and continues through 2019.
Adecco has sponsored both competitions since the end of 2010, and was previously a sponsor of Davis Cup by BNP Paribas from 2002-2007. In addition to the on-court speed serve package and the distinctive Adecco benches, Adecco will create an Adecco Speed Serve Fan Zone at both Finals. The new partnership will also include a series of enhanced digital, social and content activations starting with the Adecco speed serve competition at the Davis Cup World Group semifinals. Away from the tennis courts, the ITF will continue to participate in the Adecco Way to WorkTM campaign – a global programme launched in 2013 to tackle youth unemployment.
"It is great news that Adecco has extended their sponsorship of Davis Cup and Fed Cup by BNP Paribas for an additional three years," said ITF President Francesco Ricci Bitti. "Over the years we have come to appreciate and respect the commitment of Adecco to our competitions, and our relationship with them has evolved from sponsorship to friendship. Everyone at the ITF looks forward to working with Adecco on both their sponsorship and their excellent "Way to Work" campaign which has already been implemented successfully in our office in Roehampton."
Alain Dehaze, CEO of Adecco Group, said: "Adecco’s long-standing association with the world of sport is embedded in our core values of team spirit, responsibility, passion, entrepreneurship and customer focus. As the world’s leading provider of HR solutions, we are able to bring and share with this partnership, our strong expertise in recruitment and HR management."
Today’s announcement follows the renewal through 2018 of long-time Davis Cup by BNP Paribas sponsor Rolex earlier this year.
