(ATR) Ten cities will host International Triathlon Union World Cup events in 2016.

The calendar, released by the ITU on Sept. 22, begins on Mar. 12-13 in Mooloolaba, Australia, and end on Oct. 29-30 in Miyazaki, Japan.

Stops will take place on five continents, and races in the beginning of the calendar will provide opportunities to earn points for 2016 Olympic qualifying according to the federation.

As part of the calendar, Montreal and Salinas, Ecuador will host their first ever ITU World Cup races.

In addition to the triathlon schedule, seven cities were confirmed to host events for the 2016 para-triathlon World Cup.

The calendar will begin in Buffalo City, South Africa on Mar. 19-20, and end on June 25-26 in Iseo, Italy. The first three events on the calendar will serve toward Paralympic qualification.

ITTF Adds Tutorials to YouTube

The International Table Tennis Federation is using YouTube to teach fans how to play table tennis.

The federation has released four videos in the first offering in the coaching tutorial video series, teaching people various table tennis techniques such as backhand shots, serves and topspin.

The coaching tutorial series is simply called "How to Play Table Tennis" and features professional table tennis players from around the world demonstrating techniques of varying difficulty.

An example of the three minute tutorial videos can be seen below.
