Nearly 80 National Olympic Committee (NOC) and National Paralympic Committees (NPC) visited the French capital over the weekend to attend the Paris 2024 Welcome Days.
The Welcome Days were held September 27-29 in Paris, and they represented a key step in the buildup for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
A total of 146 delegates, plus another 200 online, got to experience Paris and witness their preps ahead of the Summer Games. The NOCs and NPCs got updates from a variety of Paris 2024 teams, visited competition venues and the Olympic and Paralympic Village.
Paris 2024 organized the Welcome Days as a joint NOC and NPC event, in order to reinforce their commitment to operate as a single team.

Day One of the visit was set aside for presentations for NOCs, while Day Two included visits for both the NOCs and NPCs. Day Three was devoted to presentations by the NPCs.
The Paris 2024 Olympic Games are July 26 to August 11, 2024, while the Paralympics run August 28 to September 8, 2024.
