The Paris 2024 Organizing Committee has introduced its new program for ticket sales slated to begin with a registration process from December 1, 2022 to January 31, 2023.

This new process will allow spectators the opportunity to buy ticket packs for three different competition sessions. The sales, however, will begin with a registration period for potential spectators. Once the registration period is complete, those registered will be randomly selected to apply for a multi-pack of tickets and will have 24 hours to complete the process.

Organizers shared, “They will be able to build their own pack, choosing the events and their favorite sports within the limits of the available seats, and thus customize their Olympic experience according to their preferences.”

Single tickets should go on sale in May of 2023, but spectators can register for the Paris 2024 Club to increase chances of being selected to buy tickets. Paris Club members will be able to purchase their tickets between February 15 to February 18.

Ticket prices will begin at €24 for all sports as part of a program to make the viewing experience more widely available to spectators and fit budgets of all shapes and sizes. The organizers have shared that almost half of the tickets will cost less than €50.

Paris 2024 is expected to have record breaking ticket sales after Tokyo 2020 disallowed spectators in an effort to slow the spread of COVID-19 amongst viewers and athletes. The International Olympic Committee allowed limited spectators at the Beijing 2022 Olympics, but is expected to have full viewership in 2024 as they attempt to have the “Games Wide Open.”

The Paris Olympics competition will begin July 24, 2024 with soccer and rugby sevens kicking off the group stages before the Opening Ceremony on July 26.
