The International School Sports Federation (ISF) will gather in Brussels, Belgium September 13-17 for the second ISF She Runs Active Girls’ Lead.

Organized by the ISF and supported by the City of Brussels, the European Commission’s Earsmus+ Sport Program and ISF partner VinylPlus, the event will focus on young girls’ health, empowerment and leadership through sports, education, culture, entrepreneurship, innovation and of course fun.

Paris was the site of the first edition in 2019, and saw over 3,000 girls running on the banks of the Seine, participating in skills activities and learning from world class athletes. With the second one starting Tuesday in Belgium, the event has become a cornerstone on the ISF calendar.

The main event will be a 4km run through the heart of Brussels, while also learning more about the city by participating in a scavenger hunt.

Girls will have the opportunity to be inspired from leaders in sports and society, like football coach Nagin Ravand, former professional football player and EU parliament member Tomasz Frankowski, Olympic athletes and more.
