For the first time fans will have access to Olympic-branded merchandise from past, current and future Olympic and Paralympic Games available at a single online store.

On Thursday the IOC announced the launch of a unified online Olympic Shop developed in collaboration with global merchandise leader Fanatics.

“This is an exciting launch for us, as fans from an increasing number of territories will be able to purchase official Olympic merchandising and connect with the magic of the Olympic Games ahead of each edition,” said Timo Lumme, IOC Television and Marketing Services Managing Director.

“We are looking forward to collaborating on this new shop with the organizing committees of Paris 2024, Milano Cortina 2026 and Los Angeles 2028 to engage with a broader fan base and offer collectibles which convey the values of the Olympic movement, in line with the IOC Global Licensing Strategy.”

The Olympic Shop will have the largest collection of Olympic-branded merchandise and will be distributed through Fanatics’ on-demand manufacturing model and global supply chain. The Shop will feature three different licensing collections: The Olympic and Paralympic Games Collection which celebrates each upcoming Games including Paris 2024, with Milan Cortina 2026 and Los Angeles 2028 available soon; The Olympic Heritage Collection offers a wide assortment of collectibles from previous Games; and the Olympic Collection will target a younger audience through exclusively online products such as toys, games, bags and sports equipment.

The Olympic Shop will be available across the world, except for China and Russia, by the middle of next year. The IOC said the Shop complements the Olympic store on Tmall, developed in collaboration with Worldwide Olympic and Paralympic Partner Alibaba and which remains the official platform for Chinese fans to purchase official Olympic and Paralympic products.

The launch coincides with Paris 2024 marking the 1,000-day countdown to the opening of the next Summer Olympic Games.

Edouard Bardon, the Licensing Managing Director of Paris 2024 is very enthusiastic about the new Olympic Shop. “It’s a new and unique way to share the dynamism of the Games with as many people as possible, starting from today, 1,000 days before the Opening Ceremony of the Paris 2024 Games. Over the next three years, Paris 2024 will unveil more than 10,000 licensed products accessible to everyone.”

Visa, the Worldwide Olympic and Paralympic payment partner, is the official way to pay on the Olympic Shop.
