(ATR)The 2014 Women's World Boxing Championships begin Nov. 13 inJeju, South Korea.

The International Boxing Association is staging the event at Jeju's Halla Gymnasium.

Boxers aged 19 to 40 compete in 10 weight categories at the world championships, which end Nov. 25.

Asian Beach Games

The fourth edition of the Asian Beach Games kicks off on Nov. 14 inPhuket, Thailand.

Some of the sports on the program for the Asian Beach Games include: air sports, beach handball, beach basketball, beach volleyball, ju-jitsu,marathon swimming, modern pentathlon, sambo, squash, and triathlon.

The event, hosted by the Olympic Council of Asia, ends Nov. 23.

Qualification for 2016 Rio Paralympics

The qualification period for five-a-side football takes place Nov. 13-25.

Athletes will qualify for the 2016 Paralympic Games based on world ranking points.

IWF World Championships

The 2014 World Weightlifting Championships are underway inAlmaty, Kazakhstan.

The event, which ends Nov. 16, doubles as a qualifier for the 2016 Summer Olympics.

Hollywood Takes On Olympic Wrestling Drama

Foxcatcher, set to be released in theaters on Nov. 14, features a screenplay based on Olympic wrestling gold medalist Mark Schultz's autobiography.

During their career, Mark Schultz and his brother David became the first wrestlers in U.S. history to win Olympic and world titles. David Schultz was murdered in 1996 by USA Wrestling sponsor John du Pont.

The film, directed by Bennett Miller andpreviewed at the 2014 Cannes Film Festival, stars Steve Carell, Channing Tatum and Mark Ruffalo.
