Lausanne, Switzerland, April 15, 2015 – With a bit less than one month to go, WISE – Work In Sports Exhibition is very pleased to announce new collaborations and activities for the Convention’s second edition to be held in Lausanne, Switzerland, on 6-7 May 2015.

POKEN, DRIVING ENGAGEMENT

We are putting a special emphasis on cutting-edge technology for this year’s edition of WISE. Towards this goal, we have partnered with Poken to boost engagement and networking at the event. Together we will be able to offer the following user experience(s) to attendees:

- Participants’ will each get a digital interactive USB stick, and create a personal profile accessible via an online web portal, and via your smartphone : Poken is a proven, effective way to boost networking as participants will be able to exchange digital business cards and chosen personal information simply by "touching" their Pokens together.

- Participants will have full access to a web portal, and mobile app, where they will view the "People and Things" they have collected, pre-load profiles of key people and contact interesting attendees ahead of the event.

- Collecting digital documents: finally, let’s go green and try to eliminate paper as much as possible! Attendees will be able to collect all exhibitors’ documentation and conferences’ presentations directly on their Poken devices.

With this collaboration we really want attendees to boost their networking experience : a personal code will be sent to each participant separately ahead of the event in order to register via the WISE Networking Portal. In this way attendees will have direct access to the Convention’s information, be able to create their own profile and prepare their meetings in advance. Upon arrival, each user will additionally be provided with a Poken interactive USB stick to collect and share information during the whole duration of the event.

Poken was used with great success at the Nanjing 2014 Youth Olympic Games, providing the YOGGER platform for athletes’ engagement and activities tracking.

SPORTS BUSINESS CONSULTING

We have also signed a supporter partnership with Sports Business Consulting, a French sports consulting agency created by and hiring only young talented business students that will lead tomorrow’s industry.

As part of the partnership, we will work on the following synergies :

- WISE 2015, in its will to support leaders of tomorrow in the sports business industry, will be an official partner of the "Sports Consulting Challenge 2015".

The Challenge was created to enable promising students who aspire to have a career in the sports world meet companies operating in this sector. It is also a way to provide a relevant and innovative thinking on major levers in sports business, namely sports sponsorship for this year.

- animation by Sports Business Consulting of a workshop on "The Future of Sponsorship" : presentation by the winning team at the Sports Consulting Challenge 2015.

- presentation by Sports Business Consulting of the "Award for Best Sports Leader of Tomorrow" during the "Wednesday WISE Fever" awards night on May 6, 2015.

This year’s focus of the Convention is really on networking and making usage of the WISE 360° sharing platform by all our categories of participants. We are very proud of all the support we receive from sports entities, organisations and federations all around the world.

The International Olympic Committee has stated : "The International Olympic Committee (IOC) acknowledges the many educational and networking opportunities on offer at WISE. As the world’s leading sports organisation, the IOC has the responsibility to protect and support our most cherished assets: the athletes. This is why we recognize the excellent work done by organisations such as WISE, who through their conventions for professionals looking for careers in sport also give athletes access to information and contacts needed to help them smoothly transition into life after sport.

The forums, workshops and discussions at this year’s WISE are sure to give anyone looking for employment in sport the edge they are looking for".
