(ATR) Lindsey Vonn highlights the upcoming FIS Alpine World Cup in PyeongChang, a chance for the world's top skiers to test the next Olympic slope.

The Olympic test event held on Mar. 4-5 in Jeongseon will feature numerous 2018 hopefuls in two disciplines. Both downhill and super-G will be contested in PyeongChang.

Still recovering from a broken arm suffered last year, Vonn is schedule to compete in both the disciplines this weekend. Vonn won a bronze medal in the downhill event last month during the FIS World Alpine Ski Championships.

"If I have a good feeling and i'm confident on the track this year, then I think that bodes well for next year"states Vonn in a press conference ahead the World Cup.

"It's not necessarily whether I win these test events or not just so much as how confident I am on the track".

Vonn also mentions the PyeongChang Games may be her last time on the slopes.

"I can't say for certain that this is my last Olympics, but I am pretty darn sure" says Vonn.

Vonn holds the record for the most FIS Alpine downhill medals with 39 total and her 77 total World Cup victories is second of all time.

The FIS Alpine World Cup will be featured on NBCSN at 9:00 (E.T.).NBCSN have recently agreed to broadcast more than 750 hours of FIS World Cup coverage including alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, nordic combined, freestyle skiing, snowboarding and ski jumping. The event will also be broadcast onNBC Sports Group's live streaming platforms for mobile devices, desktops and more.
