INDIANAPOLIS, Ind., April 3, 2019 – This weekend, U.S. rhythmic gymnasts are headed to Italy for the Pesaro World Cup and to Poland for the Irina Cup in Warsaw, while 2018 World medalists Morgan Hurd of Middletown, Del./First State Gymnastics, and Sam Mikulak of Newport Beach, Calif./U.S. Olympic Training Center, will compete in the Tokyo (Japan) World Cup.
Information about who is representing the United States and the competitions is below. The events are listed in chronological order. NBC Sports and the Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA will have coverage of the two International Gymnastics Federation World Cups in Tokyo, Japan, and Pesaro, Italy, this weekend. Pesaro World Cup, April 5-7, Pesaro, Italy, rhythmic gymnastics
Evita Griskenas of Orland Park, Ill./North Shore Rhythmic Gymnastics Center, and Lili Mizuno, Northbrook, Ill./North Shore Rhythmic Gymnastics Center, are competing in the senior competition at the 2019 World Cup in Pesaro, Italy, at Adriatic Arena. The U.S. senior group is also competing in the three-day event.
The members of the U.S. group, which trains at North Shore Rhythmic Gymnastics Center, are: Isabelle Connor of Manhattan Beach, Calif.; Connie Du of Deerfield, Ill.; Yelyzaveta Merenzon of Buffalo Grove, Ill.; Elizaveta Pletneva of Deerfield, Ill.; Nicole Sladkov of Vernon Hills, Ill.; and Kristina Sobolevskaya of Chicago.
The competition schedule is: April 5, 1:30 p.m., individual all-around/hoop and ball, and 8:20 p.m., group all-around/5 balls; April 6, 12 p.m., all-around/clubs and ribbon, and 7:30 p.m., all-around/3hoops/2 pairs of clubs; and April 7, individual event finals – hoop and ball at 2:10 p.m., 5 balls at 3:15 p.m., clubs and ribbon at 4:05 p.m., and 3 hoops/2 pairs of clubs at 5:10 p.m. The all-around competition serves as the qualification round for event finals. All times listed are local to Pesaro, which is six hours ahead of U.S. Eastern time.

Irina Cup, April 5-7, Warsaw, Poland, rhythmic gymnastics
Three seniors and three juniors are competing at the Irina Cup in Warsaw, Poland, which features all-around and individual event finals.
Heather Chan of Irvine, Calif./Eurogymnastics, Lennox Hopkins-Wilkins of Puyallup, Wash./Evergreen Rhythmics, and Elena Shinohara of Suwanee, Ga./Rhythmic Brains, are competing in the senior division. The U.S. juniors in the field are Erica Foster of Hopkins, Minn./NorthWest Rhythmic, Isabelle Richardson of Las Vegas, Nev./Eurogymnastics, and Jenna Zhao of Burr Ridge, Ill./Vitrychenko Academy Corp.
Held at the Sports Center, the competition schedule is: April 6 – junior all-around at 12 p.m., and senior all-around at 4:30 p.m.; April 7 – junior all-around at 1:30 p.m. and seniors all-around at 4:45 p.m. All times are local to Warsaw, which is six hours ahead of U.S. Eastern time. Tokyo World Cup, April 7, Tokyo, Japan, men’s and women’s gymnastics
Hurd and Mikulak are competing in the Tokyo World Cup on April 7 at Tokyo’s Metropolitan Gymnasium at Musashino Forest Sport Plaza. This is the fourth and final all-around World Cup in the all-around 2019 World Cup Series. The USA currently sits in first and third place in the women’s and men’s World Cup Series all-around rankings, respectively.
The April 7 competition schedule is women’s gymnastics at 11:30 a.m. and the men at 2 p.m. The times are local to Tokyo, which is 13 hours ahead of U.S. Eastern time.
U.S.-based fans can watch a live stream of the women at 10:30 p.m. ET on April 6, and the men at 1 a.m. ET on April 7. On April 7, the Olympic Channel will telecast the women at 10:30 a.m. ET, with a simulcast, and the men at 12 p.m., with a simulcast. The women’s competition will also be shown on NBCSN at 9 p.m. ET, with a simulcast.
