The United States Equestrian Federation (US Equestrian) is pleased to announce the opening of the acceptance window for bid applications for the U.S. leg of the Fédération Equestre International (FEI) Nations Cup Jumping Series for 2018 and 2019.
Currently in its fifth season, the FEI Nations Cup Jumping Series allows national teams from around the world to compete to qualify for an annual series Final. The U.S. event serves as the domestic qualifier in the North American, Central American, and Caribbean Division of the Series. The top two teams from the division qualify for the Final, held at the end of September each year.
The U.S. event must be held as an FEI CSIO4* or CSIO5* competition and preference will be given to higher-level events. For further information regarding criteria for qualifying events within the North American, Central American and Caribbean Division, please refer to the FEI NATIONS CUP™ JUMPING RULES 2017, Section 5.3 – Other Regions.
All parties interested in bidding to host the U.S. leg of the FEI Nations Cup Jumping Series should contact Lizzy Chesson, Show Jumping Managing Director for the bid application. The window for bidding will close on June 12, 2017.
