Universal Sports Network and the NBC Sports Network will conclude their joint presentation of the 2011-12 HSBC Rugby Sevens World Series with the Series’ final event this weekend in England. During their four hours of coverage, the two networks will air several full matches during the two-hour telecasts along with highlights from the entire tournament as the Sevens World Series champion is crowned. Coverage begins Sunday at 10 p.m. ET on Universal Sports Network with coverage continuing at 12:30 a.m. ET on NBC Sports Network.
Both networks’ match coverage will feature play-by-play announcer Bill Seward alongside analyst Brian Hightower, former USA Sevens captain.
New Zealand, who won last week’s tournament in Scotland, will attempt to secure its 10th Series title, holding off top five teams Fiji, England, South Africa and Samoa. They will lead Pool A which also includes Argentina, Russia and Kenya. Pool B consists of England, Samoa, France and 11th ranked United States. Pool C includes Fiji, Wales, Spain and Zimbabwe. Pool D will showcase Australia,South Africa, Scotland and Portugal.
